CELEBRATING 60 YEARS OF EXCELLENCE IN CATHOLIC EDUCATION

Sacred Heart School is a Middle States Accredited Catholic Parish Elementary School in the Archdiocese of New York. The leadership of the school consists of the pastor, Pastor's Page Rev. William A. Scafidi and principal, Mrs. Mary Ann McGivney, who work in conjunction with the Archdiocese and State of New York to enhance education, technology, growth in faith and reverence for Catholic principles.

Sacred Heart School is centrally located in the City of Newburgh and easily accessible from three counties via school district transportation. Sacred Heart offers education for Pre-K (starting at 3 years old) through 8th grade. Our secure electronically monitored campus boasts a newly refurbished outdoor playground, a dedicated gymnasium and separate cafeteria/meeting hall. All classrooms are equipped with computers and we are presently in the process of upgrading our computer lab facilities. Most recently, SMART boards and LCD Players have been added to classrooms to provide more student centered instruction.
